A Rigorous Selection Process
To find and select tourism buyers, we follow a structured and meticulous process: we analyze trade fairs and events to identify new contacts and update our network with the support of social media and professional platforms, we study market trends and emerging geographical areas.
We also verify the sector of affiliation, the area of influence and the purchasing power: each year we are able to select over 500 qualified buyers, contacting more than 20,000, with a total of over 2,500 tourism buyers, hosted in the Ticino region.

The matchmaking platform allows sellers to view buyer profiles and book individual appointments, optimizing time and maximizing the event’s ROI.

The buyers present include not only classic figures such as travel agencies, travel designers, and tour operators, but also specialized professionals like incentive houses, PCOs, MICE experts, wedding planners, sports event managers and sports teams, as well as representatives from large companies. This variety ensures sellers have opportunities for expansion in key sectors and collaborations in high-potential areas.

How does the appointment book work?
Both accredited buyers and SIHE exhibitors will have access to an app for matching and creating a comprehensive appointment agenda to maximize productivity during the trade fair.
The buyers and sellers will be profiled based on company type, origin, target, and interests, and will have a comprehensive description of their demand or offer, inserted into the online system by SIHE’s organizational secretariat.
After entry and activation you will receive credentials to access your reserved area from which you can directly contact the operators present by selecting them thanks to an effective search engine.
Once appointments are confirmed by both parties, the software schedules an agenda that allows the buyer to show up at the trade show with a precise schedule of meetings at the booths.
At SIHE, appointments last approximately 15 minutes each.
